Who says creativity is reserved for artists? At The Great Big Event Company, we believe in tapping into that inner wellspring of creativity that resides in all of us. It’s about stepping out of the ordinary and embracing the playful side that often lies dormant in our day-to-day lives. That’s precisely why we’re thrilled to announce that in the new year, we will be launching new activities for our clients to pick from in our unique venues across the Surrey Hills.
Where possible, and on almost every occasion, we will be working with local, independent suppliers. From wreathmaking and wine-tasting, to foraging and baking lessons. Not only will this be fun, but it is an excellent way to bond people together at an event, and will leave lasting memories, or even a trinket to bring away after!
To give you a flavour, here’s some of the activities that we will be launching – but there will be more:
Wreathmaking:
Let your event take on some natural beauty and artisanal craftsmanship by offering a wreathmaking lesson. Expect to explore an array of seasonal foliage, flowers, and decorative elements, and learn the intricate art making a wreath that you can bring home.
Baking Courses:
Let’s face it, few people dislike baked food and with “The Great British Bake-off” firmly in the hearts of the British public, baking is bound to be something that people enjoy! Designed to whisk you into a world of culinary delights, you’ll not only have new skills, but also something to bring home!
Foraging:
Why not ask us arrange a foraging experience amidst the bountiful Surrey landscape? From wild herbs to seasonal delicacies, immerse yourself in the thrill of uncovering nature’s pantry.
Wine Tasting:
With its chalky soils, Surrey is becoming more and more renowned for its delectable wines and rolling vineyards as the English wine market continues to grow. Here at The Great Big Event Company, we will be able to arrange wine tastings with some of the best wineries – guided by sommeliers and wine experts. Bond over discovering nuances in aromas, flavours, and characters across a selection wines. Whether novices or a seasoned aficionado, or a mix, it does not matter, these tastings are set up to enjoyed by all!
